I've been teaching Piano, Keyboard, and Electronic Organ for 25 years and love every minute of it!
Let me share a bit about my journey with you.
I started playing when I was 8 years old (how time flies!). In April 1988, I took my first Grade Exam with the Central Academy of Music and passed my Grade 4 Organ Exam.
By July 1990, I had completed all grades with the Central Academy. During this time, I also earned my Junior Bronze Medal in April 1988, my Silver Medal in July 1989, and my Gold Medal in July 1990.
Throughout my studies with the Central Academy, I traveled 150 miles every Sunday for years to attend lessons.
In December 1990, I switched to the London College of Music, starting at Grade 4 and progressing upwards. I studied for two years in Norwich and earned my L.L.C.M (Licentiate of the London College of Music) in December 1995.
In addition to my exams, I participated in the Norfolk County Music Festivals and Broadland Music Festival.
In 1994, I was awarded a Highly Commended Performance in Electronic Organ and a Distinction Certificate at the Broadland Music Festival.
In 1995, I received another Distinction Certificate in the Diploma Section of Electronic Organ.
I have been entering pupils for the LCM exams with an excellent pass rate.
In September 2008, I joined the West Norfolk Academy of Music in King's Lynn (formerly Musikademy) and have been working there ever since.
I hope you enjoyed my story. If you'd like to learn Piano, Keyboard, or Electronic Organ, please visit my homepage and get in touch!
